The Slavoňov hiking route is a trail described as easy, following marked hiking paths. Slavoňov is a public transport stop on this hiking route; the wooden church there is one of the sights along the route. A hiking route to Slavoňov leads through the valley of the Bohdašínský potok before reaching the village.

Culture

Slavoňov is home to the entirely wooden Church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1553. The church contains a baptismal font with a group of figures depicting the Baptism of Christ. The church complex includes a prismatic bell tower dating from 1555. The middle bell, named Jan Nepomucký, was cast in 1561 and weighs 600 kilograms; the bell tower is currently equipped with three bells. The church complex also includes an 18th-century square-plan timber-framed mortuary chapel.
