Brzice: Hotels and Accommodation

Several marked hiking trails lead from Brzice through the surrounding area and to neighboring villages. The red-marked hiking trail runs through the Běluňka Valley from Brzice via Žďár and Harcov to Běluň. The yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Brzice via Harcov and Liščí hora to Kocbeře, while the blue-marked hiking trail runs from Brzice via Proruby and Maršov u Úpice to Úpice. Cycle route 4097 runs through Proruby to Komárov; both places are districts of Brzice. The “Chvalkovice–Hořičky and back through the Běluňka Valley” route also reaches Brzice at kilometer 11 and then continues through the Běluňka Valley.

Nature

The Běluňka stream flows in the immediate vicinity of Brzice and is a tributary of the Úpa. The hills of Poustka [Brzice], Vošapelc [Hajnice-Nesytá], and Kopna [Hajnice-Nesytá] lie in the vicinity of Brzice. In the wider regional area are Čáp mountain and the Lázně church.

Culture

A small tower was added to the chapel in Brzice in 1929; since 1991, it has featured automatic bell ringing. The traditional folk architecture on the village square in Brzice includes timber-framed houses and other buildings. The memorial to the victims of the First World War in Brzice was erected in 1931 in honor of 11 local soldiers who fell in the war or died from war injuries.

The cemetery and cemetery chapel in Brzice are destinations for sightseeing and hiking. Both were built in 1898.
