Lično: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of the Annunciation is the parish church of Lično. Together with part of its retaining wall, it is protected as a cultural monument and is open to visitors. It was probably built in the second half of the 14th century in the Gothic style, remodelled in the Late Gothic style in 1594, and extensively redesigned in the Baroque style between 1777 and 1780.

Mariánský dvůr is considered to be the original centre of Lično. It originally had a wooden fortress, which was converted into a stone manor house in the first half of the 17th century.

Lično lies in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains. The nearest railway connections are in Týniště nad Orlicí and, where applicable, in Častolovice or Čestice.

The picturesque countryside around Lično invites visitors to go for walks. The orange walking route leads through “Pekelice”, starts at the Sokolovna in Lično and is 4.8 km long. Cycle route 4167 passes through Lično, runs from Třebešov to Očelice and is 18 km long.

Ličenské kácení máje is a recurring public spring event in Lično. At the 2024 event, there was a bonfire, grilled sausages, drinks, a raffle for a maypole crown and a children’s programme.

Ličenský Braňáček is a recurring local competition in Lično; the 2024 event took place in the sports complex.

In Lično, the Masopustní průvod takes place in February, the Velikonoční pochod at Easter, the Ličenské kolečko in May, the Noc kostelů in June, the Posvícení in August and an Adventní koncert in December.
