Pilníkov: Hotels and accommodations

In Pilníkov, the Cesta za vyhlídkou educational trail leads through the quiet landscape of the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains to a lookout point with views of the surrounding area. It is suitable for families with children and recreational visitors and can be completed without significant effort.

Nature

The Na Spravedlnosti lookout point above Pilníkov features a panoramic map of the eastern Krkonoše Mountains and offers views of the Krkonoše panorama. The Mlýnský, Prkenný, Starobucký, Vlčický and Volanovský streams flow into and form the Pilníkovský Stream.

Culture

The Church of the Holy Trinity is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The Pilníkov Urban Conservation Zone includes the sculptural group depicting the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Since 2016, with the exception of the COVID pandemic period, the Pilníkovský masopust has been an annual traditional event. At the Pilníkovský masopust, stalls offer masopust pastries and traditional homemade-slaughter products, including jelítka, tlačenka, bread with lard, prdelačka and ovar.

The traditional Pilníkovská pouť takes place together with Children's Day; it was announced for Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. The Pilníkovská pouť includes fairground rides and competitions for children, as well as a competition for the best fairground pastry. The event announced for June 6, 2026, also included discounted fares for the rides.

Cycling

The Pilníkov–Vlčice–Hrádeček–Chotěvice–Kocléřov–Pilníkov cycling route is suitable for recreational cyclists, more experienced cyclists and families with e-bikes.
