Prkenný Dul: Hotels and Accommodation

At Rybník Prkenný Důl, visitors can use a rowboat, two rope swings and a barefoot trail. A fire pit with firewood and an outdoor table are suitable for family picnics; swimming is also possible at Rybník Prkenný Důl.

The KRNAP cycling route 26D runs from Prkenný Důl via the U Černého mostu turn-off and the Černomostecká cesta to Rýchorský kříž.

Winter Sports

The Arrakis ski area is located at the easternmost edge of the Krkonoše Mountains, 1 km below the town of Žacléř. It has slopes of all difficulty levels, which are artificially snow-covered and groomed. From the top station of the ski lift, cross-country skiers can continue along the Krkonošská lyžařská cesta ridge trail towards Pomezní boudy and Sněžka.

At Family SkiPark Bret, the runs are suitable for beginners and moderately advanced skiers. The park also offers evening skiing and is open to snowboarders. It also has a children's winter park with a conveyor belt and offers snow tubing.

Culture

In the past, the Sněžný potok stream powered sawmills, several mills and a paper factory in Prkenný Důl.

The Chapel of St. Anne in Prkenný Důl was built in 1843 and has been protected as a cultural monument since 1958. It is a late Baroque, single-storey square building in the form of a bell tower. Its roof combines a mansard roof and a bell roof with bevelled edges.
