Horni Olesnice: Hotels and Accommodations

Horní Olešnice lies in a valley in the upper reaches of the Kalenský potok stream, at the former border between German- and Czech-speaking areas and between mountain ridges at an elevation of 364 meters above sea level.

The floodplain sediments contain placer deposits of Bohemian garnet. Černá hora and Tetřeví vrch are mountains in the vicinity of Horní Olešnice. Culture

Farmhouse No. 3 in Horní Olešnice is listed among the immovable cultural monuments of the Czech Republic. It is a brick, uniformly designed one-story house from the first half of the 19th century. A monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands in the cadastral area of Horní Olešnice near house No. 16.
