Vitezna: Hotels and Accommodation

Vitezna combines woodland, a marked educational trail and sacred architectural heritage. More than half of the cadastral area of Vítězná is forested. The Lesem Království educational trail is 4 kilometres long, has seven stations and is marked with blue and yellow hiking signs.

Culture and history

In 1893, the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was built at the pilgrimage site on the slope above the spring from yellowish sandstone. Huntířov is home to the Neo-Gothic Church of Saint John of Nepomuk, built between 1898 and 1907; it is used for cultural purposes.

Kocléřov is home to the parish Church of Saint Wenceslas, with a two-storey tower on a square ground plan. It stands on the site of an original Gothic church dating from 1359, which was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War.

Nature

The Mariánské pilgrimage site in Vítězná lies in pine forests away from the main routes and once attracted processions. Slučí kameny, a protected rock formation, is also located in Vítězná. It consists of layers of sandstone with varying resistance and numerous fissures.

Walking and cycling

Cycle Route 5 runs through Kocléřov. From there, it leads back to Pilníkov via Cycle Route 4087. For sporting activities, the Kocléřov Sports Centre rents out a gymnasium.
