Culture and History

Kolová was first mentioned in 1622. The Kolovská Chapel was built in 1873 by a local resident named Neuerer. In 1930, it was rebuilt, repaired, and enlarged; the altar, including a painting of Saint Anne, was also restored. From 1930 onward, Masses were celebrated and pilgrimages held in the chapel on the feast day of Saint Anne. In 1996, the municipality repaired the chapel, and it was reconsecrated in October 2005.

The grounds surrounding the Chapel of Saint Anne are open to visitors. The landscaped park between the chapel and the school features a wooden pavilion and several benches.
