Marienbad: Hotels and Accommodation

The Hlavní lázeňská kolonáda, also known as the Kolonáda Maxima Gorkého, was built in 1888–1889 in the Neo-Baroque style as a cast-iron structure. It is a landmark of Mariánské Lázně and a historic monument of Czech spa culture. The colonnade is step-free and has public toilets, including an accessible toilet.

Dům Chopin regularly hosts cultural programmes featuring concerts, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and film screenings. The Památník Fryderyka Chopina, a museum dedicated to the composer’s stay in Bohemia, is also located in Dům Chopin on Hlavní třída.

More than 100 mineral springs rise in the vicinity of Mariánské Lázně; there are around 40 in the town itself. Visitors can explore the mineral springs on regular guided tours of the town.

The Příroda parků educational trail runs mainly along the Úšovický stream. It begins above Alexandřin pramen, passes Ferdinandův pramen and ends at the Úšovický stream below the Prelát area.

Well-maintained hiking trails lead from the colonnade through the surrounding spa forests to viewpoints, natural areas and rocky paths.

Park Boheminium is located on the eastern edge of Mariánské Lázně. It offers an educational circuit featuring true-to-scale models of important Czech architectural and technical monuments at a scale of 1:25. Přírodní park u Prelátova pramene offers children a fire pit, an obstacle course, climbing frames and other attractions.

During the season, the Zpívající fontána plays music and shows projections with coloured lighting. Park u Lesního pramene has a music pavilion that serves as a café and venue for musical performances in summer.
