Bärringen: Hotels and Accommodation
Bärringen can be explored particularly concretely through its connections to Pernink and the surrounding landscape. Perninské rašeliniště is one of the largest peat bogs in the Czech Republic and has been protected since 1953 because of its unique flora and fauna.
Nature and Trails
In the southern part of Perninské rašeliniště, an educational trail leads around a peat pond to a viewing pavilion. A more extensive route is the Perninská Krušnohornická stezka: it is just under 14 kilometres long, can be divided into three shorter circular routes, and has 17 information boards.
The original Lesopark forest park in Pernink is also part of the historic landscape. It was created at the end of the 19th century; to this day, a network of original paths remains visible and in use. Trousnické skály is a climbing area, so a trip there can be combined with climbing.
Culture and History
Pernink is home to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity. It is a listed building, and construction began in 1714. Another listed building is the Kontribučenská sýpka, a granary dating from the 17th century. It was built under a Josephine regulation to store grain reserves for times of famine.
Railway and Mountain Line
Pernink lies on a distinctive railway connection in the Ore Mountains: at 902 metres above sea level, its station is the highest on the Krušnohorský semmering. This is a 46-kilometre mountain railway from Karlovy Vary to Potůčky; some trains continue to Johanngeorgenstadt.
Cycling Routes
Local cycle route No. 2000 is 20 kilometres long and classified as easy. It passes through Pernink, Pajndl, Tisová, Nové Hamry, Chaloupky and Rolava.

The Horská trasa is 27.5 kilometres long, starts and ends in Pernink, and uses sections of the Euro Egrensis 2198 and Jelení stezka 23 routes.
