Arnultovice: Hotels and Accommodation

The history of Arnultovice stretches from the 14th century to the development of glassmaking: the village was founded in the 14th century by hunters and charcoal burners. During the boom in glassmaking in the 18th century, Arnultovice began to merge with Nový Bor.

Culture

In the cadastral area of Arnultovice, there were at least around eighty glass-finishing businesses and small glassware traders in the last third of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Jitka Kamencová Skuhravá is a renowned Czech glass artist and designer who specializes in studio glass works and monumental light sculptures for modern architecture.

The Church of the Holy Spirit is located in the cemetery grounds of Nový Bor–Arnultovice. Concerts, exhibitions, and church services open to the public are held there. The interior of the church reflects the art of the local glassmakers. A memorial to those who fell in the First World War also stands in front of the Church of the Holy Spirit.

Landscape

Borská skalka is a basalt rock on a hill above the E442 road. There are five climbing routes and one variant at Borská skalka; all are sport climbing routes secured with bolts or pitons.

Klič and Malý Buk are located in the immediate vicinity of Arnultovice; both are mountains. Zelený vrch and Špičák, also mountains, are likewise located in the vicinity of Arnultovice.
