In Kravaře in Bohemia, the 5.4-kilometre tourist trail Liščí stezka runs through the surroundings of Kravaře in Bohemia and Rané. It is marked along its entire length and divided into several sections suitable for pedestrians, cyclists and people with strollers. Its eight listed stations include animal figures, a bird-feeding corridor with a heron, and a station featuring the water goblin. In places, the Liščí stezka passes through the village monument zone of Rané and touches the village monument zone of Janovice.

History and Townscape

Written records of Kravaře date back to 1175–1178. Documents from the 13th century describe Kravaře as a market centre and market town with market rights. Since 1995, the town has been protected as a village monument zone. The townscape includes a notable triangular market square as well as preserved, interconnected rear stone walls of barns and farm buildings. Together, they form a rare surviving urban fortification.

Sacred Sites

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Kravaře is originally Gothic and is documented as early as 1384. Its present appearance was shaped by Baroque alterations carried out between 1744 and 1749. The Chapel of Our Lady of Help at the cemetery has a stone outdoor pulpit at its northern corner.
