Kvítkov: Hotels and accommodations

The Kvítkov castle ruins are an immovable cultural monument and have been protected since May 3, 1958. They are situated on a sloping mountain ridge at the foot of Kozel Hill and on six sandstone blocks that still exist today.

Nature

Along the Robečský potok stream, NPP Peklo forms part of Kvítkov’s natural boundary. It protects a geologically valuable gorge valley set in sandstone, with wet alder and ash forests. These forests provide a habitat for rare and endangered species.

Marked hiking trails of the KČT lead through Kvítkov. The educational trail of NPP Peklo also runs through the village; cycle route 3086 passes through Kvítkov as well.

Culture

In the northeastern part of Kvítkov stands the Chapel of the Holy Cross at the road to Vojkovice. The statue of Saint Barbara in Kvítkov is a state-protected cultural monument.

In the village center stands the Church of Saint James the Greater, surrounded by a cemetery. Construction began in 1725 and was essentially completed in 1726. Regular services are held in the parish Church of Saint James the Greater.
