Pertoltice Pod Ralskem: Hotels and Accommodation

Pertoltice pod Ralskem combines protected landscapes, marked hiking trails and small cultural monuments. Parts of the Natura 2000 site EVL Horní Ploučnice lie within the municipality; at the same time, trails pass through the surrounding area and connect the town with Vranov and Zákupy.

Nature

Within the municipality of Pertoltice pod Ralskem, the Natura 2000 site EVL Horní Ploučnice includes the courses of the Ploučnice and Panenský potok rivers, as well as the surrounding area. The Strážný vrch area includes the specially protected Natura 2000 site EVL Horní Ploučnice, where animal and plant species as well as natural habitat types are protected.

Below Strážný vrch, a meadow is home to Jeskyně Pekárnička, a small niche cave in a red sandstone rock. The niche cave continues to be used for picnics. A protected broad-leaved linden tree stands along the road from Mimoň to Brniště; it has a trunk circumference of 620 cm, is 16 m tall and has a 10 m-wide crown.

Trails

A marked yellow hiking route runs through the municipality from Vranov via Srní Potok to the railway station. An established hiking route connects Vranov, Pertoltice pod Ralskem and Zákupy.

The tourist centre is open to visitors every year from 1 May to 30 September.

Culture

The Chapel of Saint Procopius is open to the public and offers a quiet place for reflection. It was renovated after 1990, including the roof, exterior plasterwork and interior furnishings.

The column with the statue of the Immaculata was erected in 1720 at the expense of the farmer Michael Ullrich. It was restored in 2009, and the statue of the Virgin Mary was placed back on the column. The column is freely accessible.
