Farská louka lies next to the church in the center of Slunečná, in the eastern part of the České středohoří Protected Landscape Area. Every year after the snow melts, the naturalized white-flowered crocus blooms at Farská louka. The meadow is also home to large and stable populations of the common toad, common frog, and slow worm.

The Výroční stezka, Stage II: Češka–Slunečná–Žandov, is a 14-kilometer, moderately difficult hiking route.

Culture

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Slunečná was built between 1846 and 1850 using a bequest from the glass merchant Johann Georg Jirschik and consecrated on August 15, 1850. The rectory built next to the church in 1880 was administered by the Order of Malta.

The Hoineff Glass Art studio in Slunečná focuses primarily on original glass art created using unique and technically demanding processes. During a visit, guests can observe the fusing technique up close and discover how glass sculptures are made. Visitors are offered home-roasted coffee while Hoineff tells them his story.
