Bílý Kostel Nad Nisou: Hotels and Accommodation

A blue-marked hiking trail runs through Bílý Kostel nad Nisou and continues via Panenská Hůrka to the Minimuzeum másla a chleba and on to Chrastava. The St. Zdislava cycling trail also runs through Bílý Kostel nad Nisou and is connected to the Odra–Nisa cycling trail; international cycling route No. 14, Odra–Nisa, passes through here on the section between Chrastava and Hrádek nad Nisou (Kristýna).

Culture

A snow-white church stands in the center of Bílý Kostel nad Nisou. The Church of St. Nicholas in Bílý Kostel nad Nisou was built between 1679 and 1691 and rebuilt and expanded between 1749 and 1754. The walls surrounding the Church of St. Nicholas in Bílý Kostel nad Nisou contain earthen niches with reliefs depicting the Stations of the Cross.

The ruins of Roimund Castle preserve the remains of the castle core, a ditch with a double rampart visible in the terrain, and a sunken cistern. Several surviving half-timbered buildings and a chapel can be found in Panenská Hůrka. The Minimuzeum másla a chleba u Hyšků in Bílý Kostel nad Nisou was founded in 2003 and contains around 150 exhibits on traditional butter production, including butter churns, centrifuges, butter molds, butter pots, milk cans, and measuring vessels.

Nature

In the mining area around Panenská Hůrka, spoil heaps, partially filled-in shafts, and exploration pits are visible. The adits around Panenská Hůrka are important wintering sites for bats.
