Bílčice: Hotels and accommodations

Bílčice is a medium-sized agricultural municipality situated on the right bank of the Moravice River.

History and cultural monuments

Bílčice was first mentioned in 1410, when Petr z Kravař and Plumlova transferred the village to the town of Dvorce. By 1569 at the latest, Bílčice had a documented Protestant parsonage. In the 1470s, Hungarian troops under King Matthias Corvinus plundered Bílčice during the Bohemian-Hungarian wars.

The Church of St. Margaret, together with the cemetery enclosure wall in Bílčice, has been protected as an immovable cultural monument since 3 May 1958. The Šternek Castle ruins in Bílčice are designated as a significant archaeological site. Šternek Castle was first mentioned in 1397 and had already been abandoned by 1480.

Cycling routes

Cycling route 6152 ends in Bílčice; it begins in Dětřichov nad Bystřicí and runs via Panské Louky. Cycling route 6142 connects Slezská Harta with Štěrkovec and runs via Bílčice, Roudno, Nová Pláň, Valšov and Břidličná. This cycling route is 41.5 kilometres long and runs at elevations between 490 and 860 metres above sea level.

The 43.9-kilometre-long cycling route “Around the Slezská Harta dam” runs via Bílčice as well as Leskovec nad Moravicí, Roudno, Nová Pláň, Valšov and Mezina. The route is classified as difficult and runs over asphalt and gravel surfaces.

Public transport connection

A public bus route connects Bruntál, Razová, Bílčice and Moravský Beroun; the timetable is valid from 14 December 2025 to 12 December 2026.
