Dolni Moravice: Hotels and Accommodations
DolnĂ Moravice combines a local history documented as early as 1258 with historic buildings and a location in the JesenĂky Protected Landscape Area.
Culture and History
The branch church of Saint James the Elder dates from 1795. Its presbytery dates from the Renaissance period, while the tower dates from 1593. In the center of DolnĂ Moravice there is also a Baroque sandstone column depicting the Holy Trinity. The artwork, created in 1752, is considered particularly independent in terms of iconography and typology in the region.
On the southern edge of DolnĂ Moravice, the Baroque sandstone statue of the Immaculate Conception stands on a tall column. It is not attributed to any artist and is dated to 1764. Another prominent structure is the stone road bridge over the Moravice River. It has two arches; its distinctly rising roadway is characteristic of bridges of the so-called Swedish type.
