Vysoká: Hotels and accommodation

Vysoká is located in the Zlatohorská vrchovina geomorphological unit. The highest point in the municipality is the 494 m-high Stráž hill above Pitárné.

Culture and history

The single-nave Baroque cemetery church of St. Urban in Vysoká was built in 1767. In Pitárné, the parish Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary dates from 1776.

In the western part of Vysoká are the remains of a fortress from the 15th century. In Bartultovice, near house no. 43, there is an 18th-century wayside shrine dedicated to St. Florian. Bartultovice is also home to the Radvanského kámen, a gravestone dating from 1760.

Nature and bodies of water

East of Vysoká lie glacial erratics that are considered a natural attraction. In Pitárné, the Petrovický potok and the Mušlov streams converge; from this confluence onward, the river is called the Osoblaha.

Hiking trails

The blue hiking trail from Pitárné passes the observation towers on the Strážnice and Hraniční vrch elevations on its way to Město Albrechtice. A green hiking trail leads from Pitárné around Dívčí Hrad to Bohušov. Hiking trails from Pitárné lead through the Osoblažský výběžek.

At Bartultovice, the Czech-Polish border can be crossed by car.
