Čeladná: Hotels and Accommodation

The challenging 22.5 km route Portášskými chodníčky begins in Čeladná and leads to Rožnov, with significant changes in elevation. Po stopách Černých myslivců is a moderately difficult 16 km route from Čeladná to Martinák, also with significant changes in elevation.

Hiking and Landscape

The 4.5 km route Za unikátní architekturou in Čeladná is easy. The grounds of RC Čeladná are located in a mature forest park at the foot of the Ondřejník massif.

The Prosper Horse Ranch riding facility, which offers Western riding lessons, is located near the Čeladná Rehabilitation Centre. The ranch also offers horseback rides through the surrounding countryside.

Culture and History

The Church of Saint John of Nepomuk in Čeladná was opened in 1789. At the entrance to the cemetery grounds by the church stands a cast-iron cross dating from 1834.

At the upper end of the municipality of Čeladná, on the road to Podolánky, stands the log chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius. The chapel was built in 1936. The wooden Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Čeladná was consecrated in 1904; the BRC grounds with this chapel are freely accessible.

The original Lázně Skalka was founded in 1902 by MUDr. Jan May. A chapel stands on the PGA Course of the Čeladná Golf Club near the tee of the 18th hole.

Leisure Activities

The Lanový park Čeladná is a high ropes course in the trees in the forest directly next to the Boboffka. It offers four courses with different levels of difficulty.

The Boboffka takes passengers up to 620 m above sea level and has an 824 m-long descent.
