Horní Tošanovice is situated in a picturesque foothill landscape between the Moravian-Silesian Beskids and the Žermanice Reservoir.
Culture
The late Empire-style Horní Tošanovice Château was built in the 1830s by Emanuel Harasovský and his son Karel. It features original stucco decoration and a large central staircase hall. The remaining part of the château park is classified as an immovable cultural monument. The interior of the château is currently used for residential purposes.
The bell tower in Horní Tošanovice was built around 1850 and remains fully operational to this day.
Cycling
Cycling route 6089 from Ropice via Hnojník to Komorní Lhotka runs through the municipality of Horní Tošanovice; it is maintained there. Cycling route 6125 from the Hnojník junction via Horní Tošanovice to Zavadovice is also maintained within the municipality.
Routes
The Český Těšín–Frýdek-Místek railway line runs through Horní Tošanovice. The village is also located on the former Imperial Road, which once connected Silesia with the other lands of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. As part of the development of transport infrastructure and tourism, footpaths, cycle paths, and agricultural roads have been constructed.
