Třanovice: Hotels and Accommodation

The “Za poznáním Třanovic” nature trail consists of three color-coded sections. It includes eleven stations with information panels and three interactive panels.

Nature along the Stonávka

The Stonávka River flows from south to north through the center of Třanovice. Its banks are surrounded by remnants of a floodplain forest and agriculturally used land. An estimated 60 to 65 regularly breeding bird species and 10 to 15 species that use the area only during migration live in the Stonávka floodplain. The former Kappl ponds at Mušalec serve as new biotopes, particularly for amphibians.

Trails and educational sites

The Lesopark u řeky Stonávky has seven additional information panels, play elements for children, and pleasant places to rest. The Hipostezka v Pobeskydí is part of an approximately 30-kilometer network of Agrostezky in the microregion of municipalities in the Stonávka river basin. It leads from Horní Tošanovice, with branches toward Dolní Tošanovice and Třanovice.

Culture and History

The permanent exhibition at the Jiří Třanovský Memorial presents his life, work, and legacy, as well as their influence on culture, language, and spirituality among the neighboring Slavic peoples. A statue of Jiří Třanovský stands in front of the entrance to the Evangelical church.

Kapplův dvůr, which returned to its traditional name after revitalization, is one of the defining features of Třanovice. It houses a gallery of renewable energy sources and the Green Center educational center, where pupils take part in excursions focused on environmental education, training, and awareness.

The mountains of Ropička, Javorový, and Ropica lie in the surroundings of Třanovice. In the wider regional surroundings of Třanovice are Kończyce Małe Castle - Zamek XV w. and Kyčera Mountain.
