Culture and History

Paskov Chateau has been a protected cultural monument since 1958. The existence of Paskov can be reliably dated to the first half of the 13th century.

The entrance ensemble of Paskov Chateau includes buildings in the forecourt area as well as Baroque statues of Saint John of Nepomuk and Saint Sebastian. The Chapel of Saint Elizabeth of Thuringia is attached to the outside of the four-winged building; stucco decoration has been preserved on its vaults.

The stone Church of St. Lawrence in Paskov was built in 1740 in the rural Baroque style. Its complex, including the surrounding wall and chapels, has been undergoing revitalization since 2024; completion is planned for 2027.

Paskov Chateau is currently closed to the public during extensive renovations that began in spring 2025. Completion is expected in autumn 2026.

Nature

Paskov Chateau Park is accessible year-round. From April to September, opening hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; from October to March, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The northern part of Paskov Chateau Park features rare woody plants and the Říčka watercourse.

The historical information trail through Paskov comprises ten stations and can begin at Paskov Square.

Cycling

The Paskov–Vratimov cycle route begins at Paskov Chateau and is suitable for bicycles.
