A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from Mořkov to the saddle below Krátká; the Valašsko cycling route also passes through the village, providing connections to other routes.
Transport
Mořkov can be reached via the II/483 state road and the Ostrava–Kojetín railway line, which runs along the southern edge of the village.
Nature
A green-marked route leads from Mořkov via Huštýn to Zašová. Huštýn includes a valuable geomorphological frost cliff formed from Godula layers, as well as an adjoining natural woodland with rare and endangered plant and animal species.
Culture
In Mořkov, visitors can see the Chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Red Army Monument. The main altar of the Church of Saint George dates from 1667.
The Pochod Okolo Mořkova takes place every year at the beginning of May. Refreshments such as Mořkovské koláče, goulash, smoked sausage, cabbage soup, kettle-cooked meat soup, and sweets are offered at the event. The Mořkovská pouť pilgrimage traditionally takes place in April; in autumn, Mořkov hosts the O mořkovský koláč event.
Leisure
The U Juráška Riding Club on the outskirts of Mořkov offers recreational riding, as well as horse rental and horseback rides.
