Kozmice lies around one of the more prominent elevations of the Hlučín Uplands. Kozmický vrch is the highest point south of the municipality.

Water and Recreation

At the southern edge of the cadastral area of Kozmice, on Hlučínské jezero, there is an existing, stabilized and developable recreational area that extends the existing Hlučín sports and recreation complex and also lies within the neighboring cadastral area of Hlučín.

In the part of Hlučínské jezero belonging to Kozmice, visitors can enjoy recreation on the green lake shores as well as sporting activities in the boathouse and on the existing sports fields. Visitors can try paddleboarding on Hlučínské jezero.

Culture and History

The listed barn with an enclosing wall dates from the late 19th century.

Kolečkův mlýn was built as a water mill in 1845. Since 1997, a small hydroelectric power station has been in operation at Kolečkův mlýn.

The Boží muka in Horní konec are also called Švédská kaple. They are a copy of a wayside shrine that stood beside the former Jägerhaus guardhouse.

The parish church in Kozmice, dedicated to Saint Florian, was solemnly consecrated on October 18, 1936. It contains a painting of the Holy Family from the first half of the 19th century.
