Dobroslavice: Hotels and accommodation

A defining feature of Dobroslavice is its chateau park: it is protected as a cultural monument and was laid out as an English-style park between 1813 and 1819.

Culture and history

The Dobroslavice chateau chapel dates from 1896 and has a marble altar dating from 1910. The chateau park contains the ruins of a stone bridge built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Near the Dobroslavice penitential crosses stands a sandstone column of the Virgin Mary with a Madonna dating from the 19th century.

Nature

The Jilešovice–Děhylov natural monument protects the dusky large blue butterfly (Maculinea nausithous). It lies on alluvial deposits in the cadastral areas of Dobroslavice and Děhylov, between Hlučín and Děhylov on the right bank of the Opava. The Jilešovice–Děhylov site is rich in amphibians, reptiles and birds.

The chateau park was revitalised between 2002 and 2003 and includes rhododendrons as well as newly planted coniferous and deciduous trees. Poštovní rybník is a nature reserve.

Things to do

The green and yellow hiking trail markings of the Klub českých turistů, as well as a local trail marking towards Plesná, run through Dobroslavice. Cycle routes also pass through the village; two maps of the Matice Slezské microregion cycle routes are displayed in public spaces. In 2015, an educational trail from Dobroslavice to Děhylov was created, with nine stations equipped with information boards.

Event

Dobroslavické kosení is a traditional event. The 14th edition is scheduled to take place on 29 August 2026 from 2 p.m. in the chateau park near the Kuželna pizzeria in Dobroslavice.
