Doloplazy lies in the foothills of the Tršická pahorkatina. The surrounding area includes the Růžový Kopec and Skalice mountains. The Kopaniny hill [Výkleky] is located nearby, while Mount Stráž lies in the wider regional surroundings of Doloplazy. Čechovy sady Park is also located in the area.
Culture
Opposite the chapel in Doloplazy stands a valuable Baroque statue of St John of Nepomuk, which has been listed as a cultural monument since 1958. A chapel dedicated to St Urban once stood on the site of the present-day church. The local church was consecrated to Saints Cyril and Methodius in May 1896.
Local sights include a statue of St Wenceslas and several crosses. Doloplazy has a monument to President Masaryk, while a monument to the fallen stands in the village square.
