The Plumlovská Reservoir is located in the cadastral area of Mostkovice. Swimming and water sports are possible at the Plumlovská Reservoir. The Plumlov–Mostkovice cycling path runs around the Plumlovská Reservoir from Mostkovice to Plumlov.

Construction of the Plumlovská Reservoir began in 1912; it was filled with water for the first time in 1933. The Plumlov–Mostkovice cycling path crosses a bridge whose construction was supported by the Olomoucký Region with CZK 2,500,000.

History

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is the parish church of Mostkovice. Its origins date back to the mid-12th century. It is considered one of the oldest cultural monuments in the region.

Events

For the 2026 season, open-air film screenings had been announced at Letní kino Mostkovice; the start was scheduled for Friday, June 26, 2026, at 9:30 p.m.

At the “Hodové setkání,” visitors could try Hanácké koláč, which female bakers from Mostkovice had submitted to the competition. The same event included a guided tour with commentary of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
