Nezamyslice: Hotels and Accommodation
Nezamyslice combines sacred buildings with a complex castle history. Part of this history dates back to 1371: Nezamyslice Castle, which later served as a monastery, stands on the site of an original fortress first mentioned in that year.
History
The Church of St. Wenceslas in Nezamyslice was completed on October 2, 1701, and consecrated by Bishop Ferd. ze Schroffenheim. Its roof structure and roofing were reconstructed in 1995.
The castle has been a protected monument since May 1958.
Sacred Sites
The Chapel of the Virgin Mary in Nezamyslice stands at a spring with cool, refreshing water and is a popular place for many locals. Legends have been associated with it and passed down through several generations. The foundation stone for the new Chapel of the Virgin Mary was laid in September 1901.
