Bousín: Hotels and Accommodation

Bousín lies in the upper part of the Drahanská vrchovina Highlands. The surrounding area is characterized by hilly terrain with deep, wooded ravines.

Culture and Townscape

Since 2019, the Rajka association has been preparing theatre performances in Bousín. The Bousín Volunteer Fire Brigade organizes beer festivals every year. In the village square, the Avenue of Freedom Lindens, planted in 1955, leads from the cultural centre to the lower end of the village. A memorial stone commemorates the victims of the First and Second World Wars from Bousín and Repechy.

Cycling and Trails

A marked cycling route runs through the settlement; in summer, the area around Bousín is used for cycling. “Vzhůru na Kopaninku” is a challenging 14.4-kilometre cycling route operated in summer that leads from Plumlov to the Kopaninka lookout tower. The Kopaninka lookout tower lies about half a kilometre south of the centre of Repechy and has been open to the public since 2018. The area around Bousín can be explored on foot.

Winter

Since 2006, cross-country ski trails have been groomed around Bousín when snow conditions are suitable.

Bousín can be reached by bus from Prostějov or Blansko.
