Nature
One of the distinctive natural formations is Sedm skal, considered the largest rock formation in Stará Červená Voda. Sedm skal consists of granite blocks transported there by glaciers and forms a rock wall approximately eight metres high. From the upper edge of Nová Červená Voda, Sedm skal can be reached by following the connection to the cycling route towards Černá Voda.
The forest complex of Stará Červená Voda is home to a population of yellow-bellied toads (Bombina variegata) that is significant beyond the region. Nová Červená Voda is also home to a protected large-leaved lime tree, considered the largest known tree of its kind in the region. The Lípa u šilhavé báby in Nová Červená Voda is a large-leaved lime tree with an original major branch still preserved; the remainder of the crown consists of secondary branches.
Culture
The Roman Catholic parish church of Božího těla is a cultural monument with a Gothic core dating from the 13th century. It received its Baroque nave in 1753 and also features Baroque and Neoclassical furnishings. Fragments of original 13th-century frescoes have been preserved in the presbytery. In front of the church stands a Baroque Trinity Column from the first half of the 18th century; together with the church, it is protected as a monument.
The monument to the victims of the First World War by Josef Obeth stands by the cemetery wall. It was erected in 1929 and reconstructed in 2005. The Panny Marie Bolestné Chapel was built in 1904 on the edge of the municipality's territory near Vidnava. The double chapel serves as a funeral chapel on one side and as the Latzel family's crypt on the other.
Historical Traces
Pramen Pokroku was established in 1848 under the name “Vorwärts Quelle” and is a well-preserved historic spring in the cadastral territory of Stará Červená Voda. Today, it retains its round shape and has a square marble plaque bearing its name; access to the spring has been partially restored.
A technical monument, a railway tunnel, is located in the Old and New Kaolin Mines in the municipality's territory. The kaolin railway tunnel is one of two such tunnels in the Jeseník District and has a very well-preserved portal with pilasters dating from 1921.
