Cycling

The seasonal information centre for the Rychlebské stezky in Černá Voda offers trail maps, bicycle and equipment rental, a Merida test centre and a service area.

Nature

The Sokolí vrch massif, which forms the main panorama of Černá Voda, features granite boulders, rocky summits, flooded quarries and deep beech forests. Venušiny misky, a national nature monument protecting a characteristic granite formation, is located in the vicinity of Černá Voda. The viewpoint can be reached from Černá Voda via a green-marked hiking trail of approximately 4 km.

Trails and Activities

The Rampa quarry can be reached by leaving Černá Voda in the direction of Žulová, turning left and driving past the grocery shop. The „Educational Trail Not Only for Disabled People near Černá Voda“ is suitable for wheelchair users and parents with prams. At the V Podhradí Ranch, visitors can take part in training with Western horses.

Culture

In the vicinity of Černá Voda, immediately south of the village, lies the Kaltenštejn castle ruins, with well-preserved remains of buildings, fortifications and a tower. The Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary is a protected monument and has an enclosing wall as well as statues of Saint John the Evangelist and Our Lady of Sorrows. It was built in 1787–1788; in 1843, it became a parish church. The late-Renaissance château in Černá Voda still stands with its chapel; it is not open to the public today. The Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary lies on the road to the settlement of Rokliny and dates from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
