Vrbátky: Hotels and accommodations

Vrbátky combines specific natural and local points of reference: the Vrbátky–Dubany Margelik Trail begins at the playground in Vrbátky. The cadastral area of Vrbátky is also home to the Na Dvorských biocentre, consisting of a newly constructed pond system; at the same time, it increases the retention capacity of the area concerned.

Nature

The landscape references extend beyond the immediate local area. The Horka, Chlum and Předina hills are located in the vicinity of Vrbátky. The hill (Amerika) [Vrbátky–Dubany na Hané] is also located nearby.

Culture

The sugar factory complex in Vrbátky includes, among other things, a beet store, a boiling house, a refinery and a boiler house with a chimney. In Dubany, the protected area of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary includes the church itself, a cemetery enclosed by a perimeter wall with a gate, and a detached wooden bell tower.

The Chapel of St Florian in Vrbátky was acquired in 1750. It has a rectangular ground plan, a projecting four-sided entrance tower and a bell, and has been a cultural monument since 3 May 1958. It was reconsecrated on 2 May 1999, when a Mass was celebrated. A meeting of historic vehicles is held annually at the chapel; the sixth edition is documented.

The Vrbátky Festivities traditionally take place on the last Saturday of the summer holidays.
