Prostějovičky is located above the valley of the Drahanský potok stream, and the history of the village dates back to its first mention in 1347. Culture, events and the landscape are closely connected with the village and its immediate surroundings.

History and culture

The Chapel of St. Anne was built in 1854 and expanded in 1870 with a sacristy and a choir loft. The construction of the chapel and the granting of permission for five masses per year were the most significant events in the community life of Prostějovičky at the time. The Monument to the Victims of the First World War is located in the vicinity of Prostějovičky. Independently of this, a monument to the fallen heroes was restored in 2007.

Events and sports

The Zahrádky outdoor area is used year-round for various events, including dances and children's afternoons. The multipurpose area near Zahrádky is also used for small-sided football, nohejbal, basketball, tennis and pétanque.

Zelená stopa is listed for April and May as a family competition with sports- and knowledge-based tasks. In November, Dušičkové putování is among the seasonal events.

Landscape and surroundings

Chlum Mountain is located in the immediate vicinity of Prostějovičky. The surroundings of the village also include Horka Mountain and the ruins of Hrádek and Kuchlov. In the wider regional area are Skály Mountain and the Monument to the Victims of the First and Second World Wars.
