Zámrsky: Hotels and accommodations

Zámrsky lies at the foothills of the Carpathians, toward the Bečva River. The original buildings of the village form a horseshoe-shaped settlement structure; the later-developed Komanica district is separated by the Hať stream.

Nature

The Doubek Nature Reserve protects a mixed deciduous forest with rare plant species.

History and culture

The first written mention of Zámrsky dates from 1131 and names the place Zamricc. The cadastral area of Zámrsky includes the former Kamenec manor farm; a village of the same name with a knight’s residence once stood there.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Hostýn in Zámrsky was built in 1867 and renovated in 1930. Its original metal bell is currently hanging in the chapel. The war memorial in Zámrsky was erected in 1916; its granite plaque bears the names of 20 fallen, deceased, and missing people.

The site for the Chapel of St Wenceslas in Zámrsky was blessed by Father František Král on July 29, 2001. The chapel’s bells were blessed on September 15, 2002, and construction work was completed on September 27, 2002.

Routes and transportation

The signposted Jantarová stezka long-distance cycling route passes through Zámrsky. The C1 Greenways stage, “Castles and Historic Towns,” also passes through Zámrsky. The cycling routes listed for Zámrsky also include the “Po stopách větrných mlýnů” route.

The Hranice–Kelč–Dolní Těšice bus route passes through Zámrsky in both directions. Zámrsky can be reached via Road 4395 from Hranice, through the village and onward toward Němetice and Kelč.

Sports

At the Luže sports complex, a multi-purpose sports field and its associated facilities can be reserved.
