Rozhovice: Hotels and accommodations

Rozhovice lies at the foot of the Železné hory mountains. At the same time, two cycling routes with different lengths and difficulty levels begin here.

Cycling

The “Za rozhlednou Barborkou” cycling route begins in Rozhovice, is 20 km long, and is classified as easy. The “Za krásami Železných hor a prachovického lomu” cycling route also starts in Rozhovice; it is 33 km long and is classified as more challenging.

Location and transport

Road II/32228 from Pardubice to Heřmanův Městec and onward toward Čáslav or Seč runs through Rozhovice. The Chrudim–Heřmanův Městec railway line also passes through the village. Passenger services were discontinued in 2010, and the line is currently used only minimally.

Church and villagescape

The Church of St. Peter and Paul stands on a slight rise in the northeast of Rozhovice. It can be reached via stone steps lined on both sides by an avenue of linden trees. The presbytery contains a large modern fresco by Vojmír Vokolek from the 1970s.
