Nature and landscape

In Pravy, north of the settlement behind the D11 in the northern part of the cadastral area, lies the Michnovka–Pravy natural monument. Michnovka-Pravy is designated as a site of community importance and covers an area of 2.8234 ha. It comprises two small, closed drainage ponds surrounded by deciduous forest and an extensively managed orchard meadow.

The Soudný hill [Chýšť] is located in the vicinity of Pravy. The Skupice hill [Osice] and the (Nadýmač) hill [Břehy] are also located in the surrounding area. In the wider regional area are Zámek Kačina Castle and Kamenec Mountain.

History and landmarks

After 1551, the Pravy fortress belonged to Vojtěch z Perštejna, who united the acquired property with the Pardubice estate. The fortress fell into disrepair in the 16th century. It stood on the site of today's House No. 17.

A stone cross in Pravy dates from 1859. It was restored in 1903 and 2005; a metal bell tower stands next to the cross. The Church of Saint George is located in the vicinity of Pravy.

Transport and everyday life

The D11 motorway crosses the cadastral area of Pravy. Public bus services in Pravy are provided by Veolia Transport Chrudim. The village has a children's playground for play and sporting activities.
