Nature

The Přesypy u Rokytna Nature Reserve protects undisturbed sand dunes with remnants of psammophilous vegetation and fauna. The dunes are among the best-preserved groups of sand dunes in the eastern Polabí region and date from the Late Pleistocene to the Holocene. Přesypy u Rokytna is also a geotourism attraction.

The Na Homoli hill [Býšť] is located in the immediate vicinity of Rokytno. Mount Strýc lies in the wider regional surroundings of Rokytno. The (Lípa) hill [Chvojenec] is also located in the immediate vicinity, while Hořánek hill [Dolní Ředice] lies in the surroundings of Rokytno.
