Dobříkov: Hotels and accommodations

The fortified area “Na Valech” includes the V. J. Klofáč Memorial. The cultural monument comprises a forester’s lodge, the Klofáč Villa, ramparts, a moat, a cellar and a belvedere. The V. J. Klofáč Memorial and the fortified area “Na Valech” are open by arrangement during and outside the season.

Further heritage sites in the village represent various periods and forms of commemoration. The Jan Hus statue was declared a cultural monument in 2004, is approximately five metres high and made of fine-grained yellow sandstone. It was unveiled on 25 August 1912. The old wooden bell tower in Dobříkov was renovated by local residents in 1989.

The memorial to the fallen is a four-metre-high sculpture on a sandstone pedestal. It commemorates the residents of Dobříkov and Rzy who fell in the war from 1914 to 1918. The “Dobříkovským z Malejova” memorial, a granite monument with a bronze coat of arms of the Dobříkovský z Malejova family, also stands in the upper village square.

The Rzy Bird Park lies between Rzy and Dobříkov in the floodplain of the Loučná stream. A total of 213 bird species have been recorded there; around 100 species breed in the wetland and its immediate surroundings. The wetland is an important breeding ground for numerous wetland and meadow birds, an important stopover site during migration and a year-round source of food.

The Rzy Bird Park can be reached via Zámrsk railway station and by car. The water surface can be viewed from several locations.
