Vyprachtice: Hotels and Accommodation
Výprachtice lies at elevations between 510 and 875 metres. The hilly landscape includes some steep climbs, and several hiking trails run through it. The Moravská Sázava also flows through the area: it rises at the foot of Buková hora and continues from Výprachtice into Moravia.

Nature and Trails
The mountain Buková hora lies in the immediate vicinity of Výprachtice; the mountains Suchý vrch, Lazek and Obora are also located nearby. The Naučná stezka Údolí Moravské Sázavy educational trail leads through a wooded section of the Moravská Sázava valley between Albrechtice and Výprachtice.
Culture and History
Výprachtice was first mentioned in writing in 1304 in a deed of gift from King Wenceslaus II to Zbraslav Monastery. In the locality of Na zámku, at the entrance to the Sázava Valley at the end of Výprachtice, there was a fortress in the Middle Ages; this was established by archaeological investigations.
The rural Kostel Proměnění Páně church is an Empire-style sacred building from 1815 to 1817, erected on the site of an older building. A tower from the 15th to 16th century survived from this older building. The church is considered an important landmark of Výprachtice and the surrounding landscape.
The column of the Most Holy Trinity in Výprachtice dates from 1863. In the centre of the village, below a slope at a road junction, stands the Výprachtice war memorial. A monument in the centre also commemorates local residents who fell in both world wars.
A neo-Gothic cast-iron cross in Výprachtice combines industrially manufactured cast-iron production with stonework. It stands on a stone pedestal with reliefs of Saint Anthony of Padua and the Instruments of the Passion of Christ.
In the wider regional vicinity of Výprachtice lies the Nový Hrad complex, mapped as a ruin.
Winter Sports
The Ski areál Ovaz Merta ski area is a small ski centre in the upper part of Výprachtice below the Na Hoblovně mountain. The Buková hora – Suchý vrch cross-country skiing area has an access point at the saddle between Výprachtice and Čenkovice.
