Budislav: Hotels and Accommodation

The historical educational trail “Po stopách Yttiho” leads through Budislav and the surrounding area. The Širůček pond in Budislav is also used for swimming.

Culture

In a forest near Budislav, a memorial plaque at the Na Borku forestry lodge commemorates the writer Teréza Nováková’s stay in Budislav. The Dům bratří Čapků in Budislav was completed in 1941 and has been a cultural monument since 2000. The ecological education centre of the Dům bratří Čapků houses an exhibition on the history and restoration of the cultural monument.

Landscape

Opposite the school in Budislav stand two large sandstone blocks: Velké Hradisko and Malé Hradisko. The Toulovcova rozhledna lookout tower stands on Jarošovský kopec between Jarošov and Budislav in the Svitavy District at an elevation of 539 m above sea level. The Toulovcova rozhledna is 15 metres high, has two viewing platforms and can be reached via more than 60 steps.

Orientation

The small Budislav information centre is located in a booth in the car park by the municipal office and sells tourist maps and postcards. During the summer holidays, the information centre organises guided tours of the Boží Lásky Church from the car park by the municipal office.

Routes

The Budislav–Městské maštale circular route starts in Budislav on red cycle route No. 4. It then continues along white cycle route No. 3 and a yellow hiking trail marking.
