Rohozná U Poličky: Hotels and Accommodation

Rohozná is home to the Church of St. Erasmus, which is classified as a cultural monument and is the oldest historic monument in Rohozná. It was built sometime in the first third of the 14th century and still has its original Gothic presbytery with remnants of 14th-century frescoes. Regular events in Rohozná include Children’s Day.

Landscape and Nature

Rohozná lies on the border between Bohemia and Moravia and in the foothills of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The Křetínka Valley Nature Park covers part of Rohozná’s cadastral area. Na Drahách Hill, at an elevation of 647 m above sea level, offers panoramic views of the surrounding area. The forests around Rohozná are suitable for picking mushrooms and bilberries. The protected plant vachta trojlistá (bogbean) grows in Rohozná’s cadastral area; several orchid species (vstavače) also grow there.

Getting Around

The road from Svojanov towards Polička passes through Rohozná. The 10.5 km “Radiměř – Svojanov Castle” cycling route passes through Rohozná and follows paved second- and third-class roads. For bus travel to Rohozná, the bus company Zlatovánek spol. s r.o. can be used.
