Želivsko: Hotels and Accommodations

East of Želivsko lies Chvalka Hill in the immediate vicinity of the village. It is the highest point of a broad ridge; from its unforested summit, a wide, nearly panoramic view opens up. Želivsko itself is located in a wooded area northeast of Moravská Chrastová, on Chvalka Mountain. The surrounding area also includes the mountains Roh, Husák, and Drašarov.

History and Culture

Želivsko is first documented in 1317. The settlement of Horákova Lhota, which belongs to Želivsko, is first documented in 1544; it has a wooden bell tower. Until 1945, Želivsko was considered part of the predominantly German-influenced Hřebečsko region.
