Bělá U Jevíčka: Hotels and Accommodation

The Bělásek educational trail is approximately 6 km long, has nine information boards and includes three educational elements for children. The approximately 21 km-long “Skrz Maló Hanó” cycling route also passes through Bělá u Jevíčka, which serves as a hub along the route. The small Smolná reservoir is used as a natural swimming pool.

Culture and History

The local pilgrimage tradition includes a mass at the Church of St Bartholomew. The sanatorium complex has been protected as a cultural monument since 1 April 2016; its registration number is 105817.

The married couple Vavřinec and Anna Maria Knödlovi had the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk brought from Prague in 1846 and installed in front of their house No. 10. The statue’s pedestal features volute wings and a relief depicting his being thrown into the Vltava.

A small chapel with a bell tower stands at farmstead No. 124 in Malonín. It is designed in the Art Nouveau style and dates from 1903. The chapel with a bell tower in Smolná has a square ground plan and was built in 1904; together with the adjacent fire station, it forms a landmark of Smolná.

There is a monument to the victims of the First World War in Bělá u Jevíčka.
