Linhartice: Hotels and accommodations

Linhartice lies in the valley of the Třebůvka River. The village combines a vibrant cultural center, the tradition of the Masopust festival, environmental education at the Stolístek Eco-Center, a cycling route running through the village, and well-preserved historic buildings.

Culture and history

The Linhartice Cultural Center is located in the center of the village next to the football pitch and is the hub of cultural life in the municipality. It is used for social events, carnival celebrations, exhibitions, and other cultural events.

For more than 20 years, a procession has taken place in Linhartice every year as part of the Masopust festival. The festival includes the symbolic burial of the double bass and a masked procession.

The former hereditary reeve's estate No. 60 in Linhartice is a state-protected monument. The former rural hereditary reeve's estate is an unusually well-preserved building that allegedly dates from the late 16th century. It was originally part of a farmyard and associated with the operation of an inn.

Nature and environmental education

The Stolístek Eco-Center's natural garden received certification as a “Model Natural Garden” in 2021. It includes a large pond for invertebrates and amphibians, a dry stone wall for lizards, and a butterfly bed. The stork's nest was moved to a concrete pole in 1987.

The Stolístek Eco-Center uses the renovated premises of the former primary school in Linhartice and the adjoining natural garden for environmental education. It offers the public lectures, workshops, and guided walks led by experts.

The “Přes Radkovské hradisko a Rozstání” cycling route passes through Linhartice.
