Nová Sídla: Hotels and Accommodation
The present-day settlement of Nová Sídla was established in approximately three construction phases; its parts include Stará strana, Kozí hřbet, and Ovčí. The Chapel of St. Anne in Nová Sídla was built in 1876.
History and Townscape
The war grave or memorial to the victims of the First World War in Nová Sídla dates from 1921. A valuable Baroque barn was built on the site of the former Sedlíšťka fortress in the 18th century. A round castle plateau surrounded by a moat and small remnants of walls have also been preserved there.
Landscape
The Loučná River flows north of Nová Sídla. A regional biocorridor has been designated along the river, part of which extends into the municipality's territory. Nová Sídla lies in a landscape shaped by forestry and agriculture, as well as by agriculture.
The named landscape features Zahořanský Kopec and Na Slínovatích (Horky), both classified as hills, are located in the immediate vicinity. In the wider regional area are Jarošov and Řetová, named landscape features classified as mountains.
Hiking and Cycling
A marked red hiking trail runs through Sedlíšťka. Cycle Route 4021 also runs through the cadastral area of Nová Sídla.
Public Facilities
The Nová Sídla municipal library is located on the first floor of the fire station. It has a computer and a printer and provides public internet access.
