Trpín: Sacred History and the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Landscape

The present-day Church of St. Wenceslas was consecrated in 1689 and finally completed in 1720. The church contains an organ built in 1840 by František Svítil of Nové Město na Moravě. Next to the church stands a Baroque bell tower built using a timber-frame construction.

Majdalenka is the preserved presbytery of a vanished religious site; the surrounding walls of the former nave have also survived. Since the 17th century, pilgrimages with markets have been held at Majdalenka in July. Concerts of sacred music are held annually in the Church of St. Wenceslas.

Above Trpín, the Boží muka wayside shrine was erected between 1730 and 1750 along the historic route. At the edge of Horní les, on the road to Hartmanice, remains of defensive ditches are still visible.

The Rychta in Trpín has always been an hereditary magistrate's estate and still bears house number 1 today. The neighboring Hostejnice, also known as Hostenice, served as a resting and overnight stop for horses; carters stopped at the tavern.

The medieval Trstenická trail ran approximately along the axis of today's Bystré–Trpín road and led via Ústup to Kunštát. At the U Šanců site, also called Švédské šance, a monument was erected in the 20th century that acquired the nickname U Kamena.
