In Kvíčovice, a nature trail with three themed stations, a 95-kilometre red long-distance cycling route and several sites of cultural and historical interest come together.
Nature and trails
The Lesní naučná stezka Kvíčovice nature trail has three stations covering the themes of water, wind and perspective. The trail is intended especially for children and is freely accessible all year round.
The 95-kilometre red Dálková cyklotrasa long-distance cycling route also passes through Kvíčovice. On the slope above the Návesní rybník pond, the Objekt lehkého opevnění vz. 36 Kvíčovice fortification is located in Kvíčovice. The Návesní rybník pond was created on the site of an exhausted quarry.
History and culture
Kvíčovice are first mentioned in written sources in 1379. The chapel in Kvíčovice was probably built sometime in the 18th century. The Brož blacksmithing and farriery tradition in Kvíčovice can be traced back to 1871.
The Miniexpozice Štěpánky Haničincové is located in the Kvíčovice municipal office building. It provides information about the life of Štěpánka Haničincová and includes an interactive room where visitors can watch some of her television programmes.
