The signposted blue hiking trail runs through Myslinka from north to south, connecting Plzeň-Nová Hospoda with Hracholusky. Archaeological finds show that settlement in the Myslinka area dates back to the Bronze Age.

History and Culture

The first historically documented mention of Myslinka dates from 1239. After 200 years, Myslinka once again came into the possession of the monastery in Kladruby and remained monastic property until 1785.

The centre of Myslinka is considered a Category II archaeological area, with a probability of more than 50 percent that archaeological finds will occur. The preserved cultural landscape of Myslinka includes historic roads, tree-lined avenues and sight lines. Objects of local cultural significance include, in particular, wayside shrines, reconciliation crosses and buildings of folk architecture.

Trails and Nature

Most local and purpose-built paths in Myslinka can be used for walking. In the vicinity of Myslinka rises the 456-metre-high Dobrák, which is often a destination for walks and excursions.

In the southern part of the Myslinka settlement, below the industrial zone, there is a pond of municipal importance. A publicly accessible pond is located on the Myslinka stream. Protected natural assets in the Myslinka area include watercourses and bodies of water serving as ecologically stabilising and water-management areas.

Geographical Setting

Road II/180 runs through Myslinka from north to south. Buses operated by ČSAD autobusy Plzeň a.s. run in Myslinka towards Nýřany, Kozolupy, Město Touškov and Plzeň.
