Rochlov Castle is a Baroque château built in 1711. The castle park is located in the built-up area of Rochlov.
Culture and History
Along the road from Kbelany to Rochlov, there are brick and plaster wayside shrines. The shrines have an open lantern with a brick onion-shaped roof.
The first written mention of Rochlov dates from 1379. Local traditions in Rochlov include erecting a maypole.
Various cultural events take place in the reconstructed Rochlov Castle.
Events at the Castle Grounds
The programme of “Baroko na Bylinkovém panství Rochlov” included guided walks with the feeding of llamas and other animals from the surrounding area. The programme also included a visit to a coffee roastery in the Baroque barn, a discussion and a tasting.
The event programme “Baroko na Bylinkovém panství Rochlov” took place in 2025 at the Rochlov castle grounds and was also announced there for 18 July 2026. The 11th meeting of owners and friends of historic vehicles in Rochlov was announced for 1 August 2026 from 9 a.m.
Nature and Cycling
The municipality of Rochlov maintains restored orchards. A cycling centre with a rental service for historic and modern bicycles for excursions in the surrounding area is planned to operate at the entrance to the Rochlov castle grounds.
